Helping Hands'

First Year a Hit!

(left to right - Paula Williamson, Keith Shipley, Santa, Dave Pinney and Julie Pinney)

On Monday, December 23rd, Santa and his helpers Keith Shipley (President 618), Paula Williamson (618-O's Chapter Chair), David Pinney (618 E-Board Member) and his wife Julie, and Victor Berube (618 E-Board Member) visited Brenda and her family of three boys.  Brenda's a member of 618 who works half-time at the landfill...  Santa and his helpers were there to deliver holiday food and gifts.  The two youngest boys, 6-year-old twins, were real surprised with the visit from Santa (the real Santa was unavailable that day, so Mike Gallagher, City of Olympia Water Department stepped in for him!).

Santa's helpers Terri Prather (Secretary Local 618), Paula Williamson (618-O Chapter Chair), and Heather Hirotaka (618-CO Chapter Chair), also were busy elves on December 23rd...  They made a delivery of holiday food and gifts to another Local 618 family earlier in the day.

Thanks to everyone who donated food and gifts, and helped to make the holidays brighter for these two families!
